The Sweat with Kayla App provides all of the workouts that are included in the original BBG eBook as well as having a whole new set of workouts that will take the user past 24 weeks. The app also includes the Kayla Itsines nutrition guide along with meal plans and shopping lists.
Sweat With Kayla – What You Should Know About!
The app is well designed and easy to navigate and includes all of the same information that is available in the e-book version of the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide. That being said – the app is great if you are on the go and want it available on your phone but if you are at home and want a bigger screen to view the program on, the e-book does the same thing.
The app is great for new users of the BBG program but if you have used the program before you will find that the app is all the same information as found in the E-books. The Sweat with Kayla app did not add anything new to the information that I already had and now I had to view it on a small screen as opposed to using the E-book on my tablet or the printed version I had made for my personal use.
There are many Sweat with Kayla users who have been disappointed and you should read this site to understand why Sweat with Kayla have been disappointing for many members.
Another downside to the Kayla Itsines app is that you pay for a membership and once the membership has expired, you lose all of the information you have purchased unless you renew your membership. Three months of the app costs $54.99 which is $15 more than the cost of the e-books. If you do not already have the e-books and you would prefer to have the app for on the go then all of the information is there at your fingertips. However, if you already have the e-books there is really not enough new material in the app to make it worth the cost.
Kayla Itsines App Workouts
The new workouts included on the Sweat with Kayla app are essentially all of the same exercises but in a different order. So though it may appear to be new content, it really isn’t.
If you have already been using the BBG program and you decide to get the app you can start on any week you like once the app is downloaded. New users can start on week one but if you are on week four of the program already you can pick it up there using the app.
Along with the daily workouts on the app, some weeks feature a bonus challenge. This is a neat addition to the program if you like to push yourself to do a little bit beyond the required workouts. Your daily menu is also included in the app and a shopping list feature is available so with the app you really do have all of your information in one place and you have it with you on the go. The app will also store your progress photos so that you have all of your results available as well.
The app currently has one added work out over the two available in the e-book and the intent is to keep adding workouts to the fitness app so it will forever be evolving and providing more and more information and options for users.
Is the Sweat With Kayla App for you?
If you have already purchased the Bikini Body Guide you may not have a lot of use for the app. The app requires an ongoing subscription for it to be of much use and if you already have the BBG and HELP guides there is not enough new content in the app at this point for it to be worth paying the money.
If you have not already purchased the BBG and HELP guides the app may be the way to go if you do not want to put out the full cost for purchase of the program right away. But you must also consider that if you do not keep renewing your subscription to the app you will lose all of the information. If you buy the PDF versions then you will have the information without having to maintain a subscription with monthly fees.
Even if I were new to Kayla’s fitness guides I would definitely purchase the e-book over the app. After reading many reviews on the app store I can see that many faithful Itsines followers have been very disappointed with the app.
Reasons for disappointment have ranged from the app not providing anything new, it is expensive, and it has bugs to be worked out. People who have the programs already have been frustrated that they have already purchased them but can’t use the app without continuing to pay a high subscription fee.
Though Kayla Itsines has worked hard to build a following on social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram, she may lose some of her loyal followers if she does not take some of the feedback to heart. Many feel that now that she has gotten a name for herself she is forgetting about those who initially bought her program and helped build her status to what it is today.
Hopefully, the Sweat with Kayla app will be examined and revamped so that it is more in line with what people using the program are looking for as if it is not she may not feel the love as she once had.
